Isabella Feagan (she/her)

Zenith Fellow Mentee, Class of 2024
McMaster University, Mechanical Engineering & Society
Mentor:
Wolfram Lunscher

Isabella is a third-year student at McMaster University pursuing an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Astrophysics.

Isabella’s innate curiosity about the world and love for the night sky drove her to question the unknowns of the universe. She is constantly inspired by the incredible pursuits of engineering in the space industry that have allowed humankind to push the boundaries of knowledge.

Isabella loves to apply her problem-solving abilities and technical skills through her role on the McMaster Aerospace Team, where she is a dedicated member of the Wings and Tail sub-team working to design and build a 15-ft wingspan radio-controlled plane. This experience has strengthened her passion for aerodynamic design and hands-on engineering projects. She is also a member of the McMaster Women in Engineering Society executive team where she strives to create a welcoming community and inspire young girls to dream big and pursue their passions.

Beyond academics, Isabella is an avid reader and loves travelling to new places. Isabella is grateful to be joining the Zenith community as a mentee this year and is excited to begin her pathway into the space industry.
