Rosalind's childhood dream was to become an astronaut. This desire to explore the universe has stayed with her since, maturing into a passion for astronomy and aerospace research.

At the University of Toronto, Rosalind has conducted several supervised research projects on globular clusters. She has also contributed to the development of astronomy instrumentation, including the GIRMOS DMD-MOS (Digital Micromirror Device Multi-Object Spectrograph). These experiences sparked a great interest in the overlap of instrumentation and research.

Aside from professors, Rosalind has also enjoyed working with fellow students at the UofT Aerospace Team's Space Systems Division, on a hyperspectral remote sensing CubeSat mission. In her time there, she has served as both the Science Lead and Director, where she developed a love of mentorship and teaching.

With her Bachelors in Astronomy now complete, she hopes the Zenith program will help bridge the gap between a future career of teaching in astronomy and aerospace.

Aside from space, Rosalind loves birdwatching, marine biology, music and drawing. She has performed in three separate UofT choirs, and has illustrated for the Varsity newspaper.
